What can I expect??

HOW LONG IS A CORNERSTONE WIRRAL SERVICE?

In total, a Cornerstone Wirral service is about 90 minutes in length.

Services begin with our music band leading the church in sung worship.

For those needing hearing assistance with hearing aids, an induction loop is installed covering the main seating area.

After the first few songs, a member of the church reads the bible passage for us, followed by our church announcements. One of our teaching team will preach a message from the Bible. Following the message, the band will lead the church in sung worship and a time of communion. Our Kids Church join the main service during the last couple of songs of the service.

Following the service we have tea, coffee and biscuits during a time of meeting and chatting with one another.

WHAT'S THE style LIKE AT CORNERSTONE WIRRAL?

Sunday's at Cornerstone are casual, and relaxed and seek to be God glorifying in all we do. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as part of the family.

Kids

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We love kids and are thankful that our church family is full of children of all ages groups - and at Cornerstone Kids, we want them to have loads of fun learning about Jesus. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Cornerstone Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Cornerstone Kids experience.

Our formal Cornerstone Kids programme is offered for children aged 4-11 years old. Check-in opens from 10:15AM in the back building, for the session to begin promptly at 10:30AM. If your children want to bring a drink and a snack then they can.

Children under 4 years old - You are welcome to stay in the service with your children, we don't mind noise. We also have a room (The Annexe) set up as a fun and safe place for parents to take their little ones. The Annexe is open from the beginning of the service and has a live stream of the service on a big screen. You’re also welcome to use the Foyer where you can still listen to the service through speakers in that area.

4-11yrs - is a fun group with a mix of singing, crafts, memory verses and a Bible story based on a different Bible passage each week.

11yrs+ We encourage children who are of secondary school age to stay and listen and engage with the main service.

If you're coming for the first time we’ll introduce you to our Cornerstone Kids team and they will happily explain what your children will be learning that day. Your children are not obligated to participate in Cornerstone Kids; they are welcome to remain in the main service if you wish.
